Le Kayak du Nunavik

Cette étude de cas, réalisée à l'hiver 2013 par Sébastien Daigle, présente une analyse du Kayak traditionnel du Nunavik en tant qu'objet issue d'une culture matérielle ancrée dans un territoire de hautes latitudes. L'artéfact est présenté afin de mettre en évidences les particularités distinguant celui-ci des quelques 50 autres kayaks traditionnels issues de communautés nordiques.

This case study, realised on 2013 winter semester by Sébastien Daigle, offers an analysis of the traditionnal Nunavik Kayak as an artefact from a culture anchored in a high latitude territory. The Nunavik Kayak is presented so that it can be distinguished from nearly 50 other types of Northern Kayaks.
